Cast iron set of 4 ramekins, bowls, for baking of all kinds. Perfect for individual portions of stews, cake, souffle, shepherd’s pies. Each bowl weighs about 1 lb 9 oz. Measures 6 1/2″ x 5″ overall. Stands 2 1/4″ to top of handles. They will hold 12 oz full to the lip. Note that inside measurements are 4 1/2 across the top and 3 1/2″ across the bottom. 1 1/2″ deep. Pre-seasoned, but as with all cookware, wash and thoroughly dry, then wipe all over with a thin layer of vegetable oil, place bowl upside down on rack in oven to season and bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees. Don’t use too much oil or it will smoke! A light coat works best. We apply it with an oil-dampened paper towel.
