Korean BBQ Taco Simmer Sauce is savory and sweet, with hints of garlic and sesame. Caramelizes perfectly on thinly sliced beef but also great on chicken, seafood and veggies.
Preparation instructionsYou will need: (for one pound -jar makes three pounds)1 lb of meat (ground or sliced) seafood or veggies one small onion, diced (optional). Medium heat: (1) Add 1/2 Tbsp oil to skillet on medium heat. Add onion & protein and stir until golden brown. 1/3 cup: (2) Pour 1/3 cup taco sauce (shake jar well before using) into skillet, stir. Saute until cooked through, about 20 minutes. Salt & pepper to taste. Yum! (3) Drizzle with more sauce for added flavor. Amazing with thinly sliced beef or chicken! Kick it up with napa cabbage, shredded carrots, cilantro, scallions, kimchi, or sesame seeds. Serve on warmed corn or flour tortillas. Refrigerate after opening – use within 10 days.
